Moisés
Section A
Moisés Uziel, from México City, began his musical studies at age 11, firstly in Orquesta Sinfónica Infantil y Juvenil Roberto Durán Lozano, in Iztapalapa. Later, he joined to the Filarmónica Juvenil de la Ciudad de México. Subsequently, he attended both Facultad de Música, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and Escuela Superior de Música, Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes (INBAL), for his high school studies. He is currently studying for a Bachelor's Degree at Orquesta Escuela Carlos Chávez
(OECCH).
He has performed at national and international venues and events, including: Teatro de la Ciudad, Bellas Artes, Auditorio Nacional, Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow,
Russia, and as well, he participated at One World Symphonic Festival, in Washington
D.C., USA.
He has participated in different national and international competitions, where he has
won awards as:
- Soloist competition with OECCH winner.
- Pro Music Patron winner at Young Classic Musician 2024.
- First place at INPERCUSSION 2024 International Marimba Competition, Third Edition, San José, Costa Rica.
